What the North Node in Aquarius Means
The North Node represents collective direction, growth, and the axis where eclipses fall. In Aquarius, those themes take on a independent, inventive, group-minded, and detached quality. The North Node's sign, with the South Node opposite, marks the sign pair where the year's eclipses land and the direction astrologers associate with collective growth.
The North Node is not a body but the point where the Moon's orbit crosses the ecliptic heading north. The mean node moves backward through the zodiac, spending about 18.6 months in each sign and completing a cycle in 18.6 years. Solar and lunar eclipses happen when New and Full Moons fall near the nodal axis.

Why Do Some Sites List a Different Date for This Sign Change?
Most astrology sites print a single date without a time zone. An ingress at 10:49 PM in New York is already the next day in London and Sydney, so two correct sources can disagree by a day. Selfgazer gives every time in both US Eastern time and UTC, and the tables switch to your own time zone in the browser.
